Terms of Use

By downloading or using YouAndMoon (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Subscriptions

The App offers subscription services billed through Apple's App Store. Subscription management, billing, and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies.

3. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the App.

4. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We only collect the email address provided via Apple Sign In and may collect anonymous analytics through Firebase to improve the App's performance and features.

5. Horoscope / Astrology Disclaimer

The App may provide horoscope, astrology, birth chart, or other similar content ("Horoscope Content"). Horoscope Content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

• Horoscope Content is not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as such.
• You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions. Do not delay or avoid seeking professional advice because of Horoscope Content.
• Horoscope Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your situation. We make no guarantees about results or outcomes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes
• Attempt to collect data from other users without permission
• Interfere with the App's functionality or security

7. User-Generated Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any images, content, or materials you import, create, or share through the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use any images or content you import or share
• You will not import, use, or share any copyrighted materials without proper authorization from the copyright owner

We do not review, monitor, or verify user-generated content. We are not responsible for any copyrighted images or content that users may import from external sources such as Safari, Google, or other websites or applications.

8. No Hosting / Local-Only Processing

All image editing and processing occurs locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or host any user images on our servers. This means:

• All image editing happens entirely on your device
• We do not have access to, store, or maintain copies of your images
• We cannot remove shared content because it is not stored on our servers
• We are not subject to DMCA takedown obligations for user content, as we do not host such content

9. Copyright Disclaimer

You must not use copyrighted materials without proper permission from the copyright owner. We do not provide copyrighted images or content to users. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any images or content you import or share
• We disclaim all liability for any copyright infringement that may occur as a result of your use of copyrighted materials without authorization
• Any claims of copyright infringement must be directed to the user who imported or shared the content, not to us

10. Sharing Disclaimer

The App allows you to share your compositions and images. When you choose to share content:

• You are solely responsible for deciding where and how you share your images
• You are responsible for any content you publicly distribute through the App or external platforms
• External platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or other social media services) are responsible for handling any takedown requests related to content shared on their platforms
• We are not responsible for content shared on third-party platforms or for any actions taken by those platforms regarding your shared content

11. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not liable for any damages arising from user-generated content, including but not limited to copyright infringement, defamation, or other legal claims
• We are not liable for any damages resulting from misuse of the App or violation of these Terms
• We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable consumer protection laws. Users agree that local consumer rights may still apply.

We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will always be available in the App.
